This is the second funtainer we’ve bought, having gotten an identical one over two years ago that still works perfectly. My boys love taking these for school lunches. I heat water in the microwave and pour it into the funtainer to pre-heat it before adding soup, hot veggies, pasta, etc. So far, we’ve had no leaks. The wide mouth makes it easy to clean, though the container does need to be hand washed in order to preserve the thermal seal. This brand seems more durable and leak-proof than other brands we’ve tried.

Great product. Have had cold and hot items in this. Only wish it was dishwasher safe. Otherwise- color great, does not leak (I feel comfortable putting in my backpack). I would recommend for kids lunches or adults alike.

My 6 year old son has no care in the world! He’s able to drop and throw this container around and it still works. We put hot food in the container and by 11:45 am which is his lunch time, his food is still warm. Easy to clean in the dishwasher or sink. Good quality.

I bought 2 of these and have only used them a few times. Kept my food warm. I was surprised how much it actually held (pasta). I did order another in a slightly larger size (for when I want soup).I marked it down on warmth for now, as my pasta wasn’t as hot as I anticipated. However, the error could have been on my part, as I may not have heated it up enough prior to putting it in the Thermos.

I got one of these to try because I was desperate to have hot soups for lunch again. My office space doesn't have a microwave so I needed something to keep foods warm from morning until lunch time. This does the trick. I primed the thermos as recommended and my soup was still hot (not just warm) for lunch 4 hours later.Also, I did a trial run with just water before using it at all and had great success. I primed the thermos first and then added very hot (close to boiling) water to it. I checked it over size hours later and the water was still very warm, almost hot. So I definitely think it can keep food warm for at least the 5 hours the packaging says.

We took this Thermos on our trip to India for our 10 month old year. We were going to be out and about a lot so we needed something to keep food warm for him (we did not store anything cold, so I cannot comment on that). We were happy that the food did stay warm for at least 7 hours, as it indicated in the product description. I think a few times it lasted for about 10 hours, so were happy about that. Overall, a great product for when you are traveling!

I love the flask. Wide mouth makes it easy to eat from and clean. My son's breakfast is made approximately 6:00am and is warm when he eats at 9:00 am. My only complaint is the O-ring was misplaced at school and getting the replacement is as expensive as just purchasing a new flask.UpdateSeem to be a bit of rust in the flask after a few months of use. Already ordered a replacement.

I’m in a rehab home and my husband brings me lunch once a week. This worked well for our desired purpose. Last time he brought me ice cream in a covered dish with ice cubes. When he got here both were melted so we ordered this nice little thermos. He stored it, lid off, in the freezer. This time he put in a scoop of ice cream and brought it up. The ice cream wasn’t melted at all. It does have an area that is raised at the top on the inside (the interior isn’t smooth) but it was fine.

This thermos is great for "on the go" meals, especially as we are meal prepping now. It keeps food warm or drinks cold for several hours. It is the perfect size for a small meal (soup or pasta) and fits perfectly into my lunch bag. Very easy to clean. I highly recommend this thermos!

I ordered two of these to use for hot items in my kids' school lunches. After reading many online reviews on various brands of Thermoses I decided that the ones that work the best are the ones that have the flat bottom on the inside. Some have a "bump" on the inside, which supposedly causes the food to cool off faster. Well, when I received my two from Amazon one had a "bump" and one did not, which was a little irritating. However, I emailed Amazon and requested a replacement for the one with the bump. I returned the one with the bump and they sent me a new one very quickly, no questions asked. So I was very happy with that result and I am pleased with how well these containers keep foods hot. My five stars is for the good Amazon service and the one with the smooth bottom, not the one with the bump, so you will want to make sure you get one that is smooth on the inside.

Great thermos for keeping chicken nuggets, pizza bites, mozz sticks, macaroni warm for kids' lunches. They last at least a year but usually 6mths longer. When the outside starts feeling hot to touch, it's time to get a new one. These hold up well, I've never had a leak in the last 4yrs I've used them.

We love the colors that this product comes in and that it was an affordable price. It keeps food hot/cold with ease!The only down side is that the top is all plastic and not lined with stainless. I don't like that in a stainless product the food is still touching plastic at some point, especially if the food is hot.

I really like this thermos! We use it for our 8 year old son to take soup in for lunch at school. It stays hot from 7:30am until he goes to lunch at 11:15am. I usually soak it in hot water in a big bowl for a couple minutes before adding food. It was in the instructions to do that. No issues with it. We have been using it since the beginning of the school year around August and it still works just fine.

My daughter likes black beans and rice for lunch and I've been pleased that I can warm food before school and it will maintain it's warmth by the time she has lunch. I was concerned with how well my dishwasher would be with cleaning the lid but thus far I haven't had issues.

It is easy to open. It will keep the food warm until lunch time. The only thing i can say negative is cleaning the top. I wanted black, but blue works just fine. I used this as a coffee cup when I was helping fight fires in the Oregon. I used it as part of a "coffee kit" I made with a Aeuro coffee press that all fit neatly in a 3" PVC pipe I put all my coffee gear in to keep it water tight & secure.

Thankful to find a fun thermos to add variety to our back to school lunches! While the hot food isn't too hot, the thermos works as promised and keeps foods like Mac and Cheese warm enough to eat. And, we use it for cold things too, like pasta salad and I don't have to worry too much that the food won't be edible. We did have the rubber lining fall out after the first washing, but it was easy to put back in and now we just remove it and wash it separately. My daughter likes it and that's what counts for us!

Total lifesaver for the kids school lunches! Gives us many more options so lunch doesn’t get boring.We always heat it up at first with boiling water while I’m getting everything else ready and heating up the food that will be in it (Annie’s Mac n cheese, chicken nuggets, soup, we’ve even done French fries only had it for a couple of week but still trying new things). The kids say their food is still warm at lunchtime, I personally have tested it but they’re happy so I’m happy.

This container is very easy to clean, it does not leak however it does not serve the purpose I bought it for. It is a lot smaller than I expected and does not fit as much food as my child wants to eat at school. My son told me that the food Was not warm after five hours of leaving the house. I personally do not like this product to much.

My 10 year old takes this to school. No problems opening or closing. It has kept the food warm even with an ice pack (I haven't tried with cold food yet). I do heat the food before I put it in the thermos. The design is cool and it's held up so far. It's easy to clean. No leaks! The compact design is nice because it allows room for additional food in the lunch bag.

I’ve been looking for a container that will keep my little one’s lunch warm when she is at day care and have bought a whole lot of options which claim to fit the bill. Ofcourse, those are all money down the drain and the thermos container was the only one that did fit the bill. Live up to its name and expectations so worth the price and I’m glad I made the investment.

My son kept asking for a warm lunch like some of the other kids have at preschool so I finally bought this thermos container. it is easy to use, easy to clean, and easy enough for him to open. We've only put mac and cheese in it so far, so I can't confirm whether it would be leak proof but still easy to open with something like soup.

Was concerned because previous thermos did not keep soup hot till lunch. This one does. TIP: Do not put base in dishwasher. Seems to reduce the ability to keep food hot. I only put lid in dishwasher. I also heat soup or chili on the stove rather than microwave . Seems to heat up better and even. I wait until the soup begins to boil small bubbles than I know it is enough. My son complained once that the soup was too hot after 5 hours. So I know the thermos is doing its job.
