We've used the thermos for sending hot food to school and camp. Food stays warm, nothing leaks out.The only thing that can happen to this thermos is that the outside paint eventually wears off. These things, otherwise, last for years.

The food jar works well. My son mainly uses it for pasta. I usually pour some very hot water in there first to get it all warmed up, then dump that out and put in his pasta with a little bit of the pasta liquid to help it stay warm. Never had a problem with this leaking either. Great little container.

Filled a couple of these with some beef stew before work and contents were still hot 5 hours later. Just make sure you prime it with boiling water first, and make sure your soup is boiling hot as well. The only downside I have found is that I should have purchased the 16oz version as the 10oz is slightly too small for my liking as I tend to eat larger proportions than average.

I suppose these were made for kids. I didn't read the description well enough so I was expecting maybe a 18 oz container for soup or stew. It is only 10 oz. I can return it if I pay for shipping. I won't be doing that.

This thermos is a game changer. My first grader is a very picky eater had completely stopped eating her lunch most days. I started sending warm items in this thermos and it comes home empty and she isn’t cranky. The only con is that the seal has to be removed every time I wash it and can be tricky to get back on. Despite that, this is worth the hassle.

I loved the thermos when we got it. My toddler hadn’t used it for a full week when the plastic ring from the top came off and boy is it a cool ordeal to put it back on. I now have the struggle every school morning, which is annoying.

Great thermos! We use thermos' a lot because we have to send food with my son everywhere. he has celiac disease and often cant eat food going to theme parks, so we can easily pack something warm in the thermos and it'll stay warm for hours.

Great quality. I got it for my son’s school lunches and every time I ask him, he tells me his food was still warm by lunchtime.
