We are big Thermos fans! I purchased these for the 2017-2018 school year. We use them 1-3x/wk and always hand wash them. This week they are done! I can immediately feel the heat on the outside of the containers and my kids are complaining that their food is COLD a few hours later! The last Thermos containers lasted 1.5+ years and I expected the same out of these. Going to try and contact the manufacturer.

Keeps warm/cool well, but major graphic fail. My son has used this Thermos about twice a week for just THIS school year and we will have to replace it. The graphic image has started to flake off so much so that I'm afraid that it may go into the open container of food as he's handling it. Upon first sign of flaking I applied the thin coat of clear nail polish to try to seal the area and save the image, no luck. It has continued to flake a lot more after each wash. I'm disappointed that a stainless steel item with the Thermos brand (and for $18!) on it has to be replaced after such little use. I will repurchase this same Thermos sans graphic. Just plain stainless for us. Sorry kids!

Got this along with the r2d2 thermos. My son loves it. He does say it only keeps his food warm and not hot, I myself have not had the chance to test it out yet. I will also say that make sure to wash as soon as you can. He took it over to dad's for a day and when he came back with it there was mold already. Cleaned it good and it's back to normal.
