Its a great kitchen gadget to have but you have to make sure you have space for it. I was looking at the pictures on the order page and liked how it was attached to the inside of the cabinet door and thought that would be great to have especially that I hate having to look everywhere underneath the cabinet for a top to fit on the pan I am cooking with and thought it would be great to be able to open the cabinet door and a top be there within reach. Well this did not work for me because the cabinet shelves where in the way and would not allow the cabinet door to close.So as stated its great to have if you confirm before ordering you have the room to put on this on the inside of your cabinet door or even on the outside of the door, which I didn't want because it would be in the way and i didn't want to bang up against it.

I fit this too the inside of a cabinet door to store pot/pan lids. It required additional hardware to securely mount it. That hardware (bolts, nuts, washers, & brass finish washers) cost about $4 additional, so the results would be esthetically acceptable. The widths of all the wire rack "slots" are all the same, so you can place any size lid in any slot. The bend of the wires that make up the rack widens from the top to the bottom sections, so the angle of the lids change as you go down the rack. Even so, depending upon the style of handle/grip your pot lid might have, you may have to juggle the lid below the one you wish to extract or re-insert. It's a little clunky in that regard, but is not really much of a headache as other racks that force you to put the lids in a particular order. Beware of mounting too high, as a lid of any appreciable size or with a non-knob shaped handle will protrude above the cabinet door and keep you from shutting the door. It's the ol' "measure twice, cut once" rule applied to drilling mounting holes. I place the largest lids at the top and smallest at the bottom. Doing it the other way required more room on the cabinet floor and the large lids took over the floor space where I wanted to store some pots.

I like the product, there’s nothing wrong with it as long as you know that it’s made to hold a specific lid type. They should be a knob style in the center as in the picture. My lids have handles like a drawer would have. They don’t sit in the notches of the rack very well. I made it work but just be aware. They’re also better for large lids. Sauce pan lids are very loose and have potential to fall out. They will fit but another thing to be aware of.

The bad news first: My lids, which range in size from 8-14" in diameter and from about 2-4" in profile, will all fit on this thing at the same time only by overlapping them which means that each and every time I want to select one of them, I set off a cacophonous rattling. The good news is that the rack is of reasonably good quality. By leaving out one of my lids, I was able to bend the pieces to accommodate the rest of them. For placement of this rack, make sure to take into consideration its length as well as how much the top lid will stick up and if the bottom lid will stick out the bottom -- otherwise, you won't be able to close the cabinet door.

OK, for the price you can't beat this. Problem is really with the lids. So if you look at the picture as it appears in the item description, then look at your cabinet door, then at the dimensions of the rack, then measure your door. So, if it fits on the doors you have and want to use it on, you are good to go, if not, then it isn't. just check. Also you need to count for the DEPTH, of the lids and the wrack attached to your door and anything you have in the cabinet. You loose that space and are now pushing on things in the cabinet if your not careful. My issue is really with bad planning. I had a pull out shelf in the cabinet where I wanted to put this, it hits on that and if you move it up enough to miss, the lids now extend above the door. So just know where you want it, and you will be OK. It is solid, good build, and shipped in perfect condition.

Loving this so far! I just converted this cabinet to my pot an pan cabinet as it doesn’t have a shelf and was a very inefficient use of space. But now it fits all my pots pans and lids!!In order to mount this to the cabinet door I needed to use shorter screws. It comes with long screws (maybe about 1 1/2”) which works if you are mounting to the wall but I didn’t want to do that.All my lids fit as I don’t have many. The top slot doesn’t work with my smaller lids (they slip down) and because of where I placed the rack my large lids won’t fit there either. Which again is fine because I don’t have that many lids.It feels sturdy and high quality.Definitely happy with my purchase

This product worked really well. I did have 2 minor issues: If you are planning to mount this to a wall the screws are great and even come with the plastic wall anchors. I, however, installed it on the inside of the door to one of my cupboards and the screws were much, much too long. I always have spare screws floating around though so I was able to find a proper size and resolve the very minor issue without any trouble. The other is that the product can only hold a few lids in my cupboard as the design of the shelving in my cupboard makes it difficult to close the door with this installed and a full rack of lids. This is more an issue with my cupboards than the product, but just a heads up to measure everything twice before investing. The product still holds enough lids to make it worth my while and again, not a product issue, more of a cupboard space issue.

I needed to get large pot lids (10 1/2" size) up off cabinet floor and organized them. This works! I just wish I had done it sooner. I installed mine in the wall inside the cabinet wall not the door but it would work. Measure the thickness of the wall spot you want it to go. Match the screws to the thickness of wall, not longer than it. Just a touch shorter.Yes the screws are way to long that they give you. I went to a hardware store and got 3/4" length ..." Cabinet" screws. You could use wood screws too. (Need only 4 small screws)Marked with a Sharpie marker where I wanted them to go. Set drill bit to match screws ...drilled and placed in the screws. Done! It holds heavy glass Pyrex lids and large pots and pan lids. It does not hold the little 6" lid at all. Falls. through. I am 62 year women who put it in. You can do this!

I mounted it on the back of my pantry door, but I can only fit round knob pot lids not lids with handles.I even tried bending one of the holders a bit so the handled lid would fit but then I couldn't close the pantry door.I have enough round knob lids to fit the rack but I need a rack that will hold the handled lids.The rack is easy to install and sturdy enough.

Wy wife and I have just moved into our new apartment. We had just gotten married six months before and most of our stuff had been in storage or at her parents place. After moving in to our apartment with all of our stuff we quickly realized we had more stuff than we had room. After a yard sale, a bit of selling on eBay and two or three trips to goodwill we realized that we still had too many items and that we needed to solve our storage problem. We bought this pot lid holder to help clear up some space in our cabinet for the actual pots. It was very easy for me to set up. It included screw anchors which I did not use due to rental agreement. All in all hanging it up and screwing it into the wall took me less than five minutes. The lids all fit well into it. All in all it is a solid product and has helped us out a lot.

This pot rack comes with drywall anchors that are brittle and otherwise completely useless. Two didn't stay in the wall and two broke into pieces when the screw entered it. I grabbed four cheap ones from the hardware store that are now very solid. I highly recommend that you order some SnapSkru self-drilling drywall anchors when you order this. The extras will come in handy for something.The second issues is the top two screw holes. They are completely obstructed by the top rack and there is no way to align a screw driver directly behind the screws to get them tight. I needed to borrow a right angle Phillips screwdriver, I suggest ordering one of the ratchet variety if you do not already have one or a VERY, VERY long driver already.The third complaint is that they don't fit my lids very well. The shelves are very rigid and cannot be adjusted easily. I have to take two or three out to get at the one that I want.Now, the pros are that this rack looks quite nice on the wall, especially with glass lids, and has made my life a lot easier than digging in a dark cupboard for the right sized lid. Installation and fit issues aside, this is a good product!

This little rack worked out fine for our generally consistent set of lids. It went together easily, and easily adjusted to accommodate the various sizes. The wires were not real "solid" feeling within the plastic base, so I wonder how it will wear over time. The wires do see to be of high quality which bodes well for them holding up well against the lids. They are heavy, and thus some of my concern for the plastic base, which is not very heavy. I am very satisfied though, and gave another to a friend.

Unable to get lids out of slots without removing all those above it. :( I was looking forward to having my lids organized and out of my way but I was so disappointed that these lids cross over each other so much that it is a real pain removing them from the slots. It is a very sturdy product and if the lids did not get hung on one another I would give it a 5 but I can't see the aggravation every time I go to get a lid out.

I had to bend each wire in order to close the cabinet door, and my lids wouldn't have been held in (they fell through) anyway. Would be good for the product to come with a short list of answers to frequently encountered problems/questions such as "can I bend this without breaking it if my lids are too slender in profile?" Also, the rack is too wide for my cabinet doors and I had to mount it sort of cock-eyed. It doesn't need to be so wide to hold most lids. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the wire racks holding the lids should all have a cushion of some kind like a rubber wrap so that the lids aren't clanking so much.

This unit is made from thin wire and the weld spots look like bare minimum. If you try to adjust the gap between the shelves, you are likely to break the weld. No good!!This following unit is much better. We just moved into a new home and needed a place to store my lids. Pots/pans are in a drawer now below my cooktop which I love but putting the lids in that drawer was just too much. The only suggestion I have is don't install it on your cupboard door as the screws are too long and ended up coming through to the outside of the door. Had we known that was going to happen we would have installed it to the inside of the cabinet. That would have been less convienent but wouldn't we wouldn't have the holes showing. Holds the lids beautifully though.

Delivered on time, packaged well, includes screws and anchors. Be aware: it works for lids with circular handles. When measuring your space for it be sure to include that the rack extends out from the wall 4 inches but your pot lid with handle can add on another 2 inches. I use an electric drill for a screw driver but it would not fit for this item because the rack and screw hole areas are too close. I had to manually use screw in the screws. Also the wall where I installed so, I decided only to use the top 2 screw holes. Sometimes it is tricky to get lids in and out of because the handles nest inside of the lids. All in all it is a great space saver but, it can only support llids with circular handles, some of my larger lids have long handles.

There are images of two different version of this in the ad - look carefully - one has an extra horizontal bar near the top - the other does not. That extra bar is offset from the mounting surface by enough to put a lid there as well.That means I was able to fit six pot lids in it - biggest at the bottom, progressively smaller as going upwards, with the smallest tucked into that "extra" bar area near the top.That was a bonus, of sorts, as I thought I'd only be able to fit five in it.It's solid, easy to clean, functionally attractive, and serves my needs perfectly.

It's been several months and I feel compelled to downgrade my review. The weld is week (it breaks) and the design is simply a failure. Each lid's upper rim covers the handle of the lid above it & it's handle is covered by the lid below it, so... its difficult to lift one lid out without also dragging out (and likely dropping) the lid beneath. It kind of makes a daisy chain of frustration. I am testing several systems to determine what goes into my eventual kitchen remodel, and this one doesn't make the cut.

It seems that all the manufacturers of this type of accessory misunderstand how they will be installed. All the accessories are too short to drive the mounting screws into the side frames of a base cabinet and no accessory is provided to bridge this gap. While it may be possible to get a screw to grab in the lesser thickness of the panel part of the door, I think everyone is reluctant to try it for fear it will come through on the face. All that being said, I rate this issue "not their fault"; everybody does it.The rest of the product is first rate, sturdy and well made. The top rung is pretty much useless because of the above describe problem; i.e., the door won't close with a lid in that slot because you have to mount the unit too high; if you mounted the bottom of the unit to the bottom of the door and had some type of adapter to bridge the gap to the top of the door, then the top rung might hold a small lid.
