Spatula and handle are all one piece, so somewhat rigid. They are large enough for big bowls of batter or quickly scraping out the remains of pot or pan drippings. This may be a nit, but I expect that utensils that go in the kitchen be ready for use after washing. All three that I purchased came with the labels wrapped tightly around the handles. The adhesive on the labels was impossible to get off ( even with nail polish remover and other cleansers) and it remains on the handles even now and just look dirty and sticky.

Sad for me because I bought a whole bunch of these and DIDN'T Read reviews :-(They are all made of cheap melty plastic .. as noted in other reviewers - soup hot, not even searing chicken hot - will cause them to melt. Can't even imagine trying to do candy making with these.. :-(If you do soup hot cooking with this, it WILL melt or at least wilt PERMANENTLY.HARD AS HECK!!! to SCRAPE off melted chocolate.. because the plastic is so cheap, and how poorly its designed, you need to scrape off the spatula 4 or 5 times and it still leaves plenty there.Looking to find replacements.. *sigh*

Why are you putting stickers on the handles. I was going to return them because the stickers were so bad they left glue residue on the handles. I hate when companies do this to a product. My husband took a crack at it and he scrape the sticker off with a plastic knife then spray gel googone on it and after a minute paper towel took it off. Now handles are smooth. I like them so I am keeping them but do something about the stickers, i shouldnt pay for a product to make it this much work to get off a sticker that should never be place on silicone.

Love the ratio of stiff/ flexible - gets every last bit of even heavy dough/ batter. Handle is a bit lrg but ultimately a good thing, won't snap off easily. LOVE the nifty "clean rest" feature!Arrived with NO packaging, filthy from sliding around in a box w. other items. =:-o (deducted a star for poor packaging) Stickers: apparently gorilla glued on. :-/ Lift an edge, peel s-l-o-w-l-y and whatever is left (a considerable amt) kinda roll and push with your thumb, rolls right off.Cleaned up nicely in soapy water - actually love these cold application spatulas for scraping bowls, etc. Purchased 9 1/2" and narrower spatulas, as well. Very happy with them, would recommend to friends/ family!

Only use this with cold food...if you scrape a hot pot, the tip melts ........ not a burning pot, just a soup pot ...cannot believe Rubbermaid would make this scaper that cannot be used in cooking.

Not pleased with the false advertising stating it is “made in America”, it is not!It is also huge! No where in the description did it give a dimension for how big the scraper part is... it will not fit in an ordinary jar!I’m sure the product will work, but do not appreciate false advertising.
