I was not sure how well this would work but wanted to give it a try. I love a good omelet but rarely have time to even eat breakfast before I need to head out the door.I can use 3 to 4 medium eggs cook those for about 2 minutes then add meat, peppers and whatever else sounds good and another 1 ½ minutes and it’s good to go. They turn out nice and fluffy and clean up is really easy, no stick just throw in the dishwasher and it’s ready to go the next day.

I’m on WW and don’t want to use oil or butter to cook eggs and I have never been able to cook an omelet. This does both to perfection. I scramble the eggs with water or milk, pour it into both sides of the pan and add whatever ingredients I want. Very easy to use and makes an omelet in 3-4 minutes with almost no cleanup. Eggs don’t stick to it, so it’s very easy to wash. Just what I was looking for!

It isn't really an omelette if you don't fold it, is it? It works, but you plop one half over the other half. There's no fold. You have 2 pieces. I also have a silicone one that works the same way, but it's not separate halves, and it folds. I use neither anymore. I got a Nordic Ware microwave-safe plate and do this instead - I pre-chopped all my veggies and meat in advance. I put a 10" microwave plate in the micro, and pour my whisked eggs/milk into the plate inside the microwave. Perfect circIe - cook it between 1m to 1m 20, depending on how many eggs. I open the micro and sprinkle my veggies and meat on one side, fold it over, and zap again for about the same time. I open again and sprinkle mixed taco cheese on the top and zap for 20-25s. My omelette comes out perfect every time. I don't need molds anymore. I gave mine away. Nothing wrong with them, but a plate works great. Mine doesn't stick. You may need some PAM spray depending on the plate. For Frittatas, I use a microwave bowl. Perfection. The leftover veggies & meat I use in corn tacos for next meal.

Was able to give this microwave omelet maker a run this morning, and I'm pretty pleased.   My attempts to make omelets on the stove top never turn out well, like some crazy and gross looking scramble.  I don't even understand how I make eggs look so horrible, but I do, and have for years. There is going to be bit of trail and error with this product,  but that's part of the fun.  I used 3 eggs and a bit of water, mixed up in bowl and then divided between the two halves.   Cooked in our under-powered microwave for about 3 minutes and then added some chopped up turkey and a torn up slice of American Cheese.  Cooked for 1 more minute.  The eggs were pretty set at that point, so I closed the halves and cooked for another minute.  There was a nice bit of steam when I opened the clamshells.   I bet it would have continued to cook if I had let it sit for another minute or two, but I couldn't resist having a look.   All in all, I'm super pleased.  This is the most recognizable omelet I have ever produced. I may experiment with finishing it off in the toaster oven for a minute or two down the road. Clean up was the BEST!  No horrible pan that I needed to soak and then scrub.  Just rinsed and wiped off. Tomorrow I'm going to try a chili omelet, I think.   Or maybe spinach and tomato.

I followed the instructions, and they worked. Okay, every microwave is different, and altitude is also a factor, so your perfect cooking time will be different from mine. In my oven and location I cooked the omelet for 2 minutes. Then I added grated parmesan and spinach, closed the two sides as instructed, and let it sit for two minutes, as instructed. But here’s the thing. If you want a slightly runny omelete, stick with your stove and your pan. Microwaves cook from the outside in. So unless you want a well done omelete with a little puddle of raw egg in the middle, you need to cook it till it’s done. You’ll probably need to experiment with the time and your microwave. I started with 60 seconds and kept adding addtional increments of 15 seconds till it was fully cooked.

This is an awesome time-saver if you want to spend some time on the weekends making omelettes ahead to freeze. I bought 2 so that I could assembly line, constructing the next pair while the first is cooking. Perfect when only some family members want cheese, bacon, ham, or vegetables such as fresh spinach or blanched asparagus in season... yum! I usually make 2 one-egg omelettes at a time (one in each half of the pan) choosing not to flip at the end to make a single 2-egg; however, you can put 1-2 eggs into each half as you wish. These are very easy to use and to clean up afterward! Also easy for any family member to use when making a fresh omelette. I chose to cover the pan during cooking with a plate to help the omelettes cook through.

I’ve used this twice and I will use it again today. Cracked two eggs added a little milk stirred and poured evenly into both sides. Cooked 30 seconds and then stirred each side really well. Then I put some cheese, diced tomatoes, diced bell peppers and bacon pieces ( the Costco bag for salad but not the dried types) I cooked for about another 40 seconds. I’ve also added broccoli to one. Folded the two sides together lifted one side open and slid onto plate. Personally I thought it was easier putting the plate against it and flipping it over right on it.

This might be the best kitchen gadget I’ve ever purchased. Today I made the beat omlet I’ve Ever had with bacon bits & mozzarella cheese. I used egg whites only. No butter or oil at all & it was the moistest, fluffiest omlet I’ve ever had. The texture was lovely. Consistently moist & soft throughout. It’s great! I bought one for my house & one for my camper. Very easy to use & only the omlet maker & my egg beater to wash afterwards. I highly recommend this omlet maker. You can make guilt free healthier omelets for any meal you want.
