This spatula is nice, really thin for getting under your food, all metal so you can just throw it in your dishwasher. The flat part and handle is pretty tough and you can use it for scraping your pans if you need, though where they join is a bit of a weak part so be careful.

Loved it and used it for a couple of years for only flipping eggs. It recently broke in the same place everyone else is talking about. :-(. Note: I don’t eat fried eggs that often. It seems this complaint/problem has been known for a couple years and the problem has not been resolved according to recent buyers. That’s dissatisfying, but as they say: “You get what you pay for”. This is not a high quality product but it was a fabulous egg flipper while it lasted. Two stars (vice one) for meeting my needs and for being only $6.

The one downside of this sort of spatula is that IF you screw up some eggs or flip something half out of the pan and then WHACK this spatula on your counter top in anger, say, 10 times in quick succession, it WILL create a crack at the back corner near one of the fasteners. Otherwise, if you use this within its operational parameters, it's a gem.

We dispared when our old spatula was lost in moving. Its hard to find a thin and flexible spatula that's perfect for delicate fish or warm cookies. We were very glad to find this two pack and use them all the time.

I use this to take cookies off the cookie sheet. Nice and thin so I don’t brake the cookies when transferring the cookies.I had to buy a new one because my husband used my last one scape hard stuff off a pan like a garage took.

This item didn't even last 4 weeks. There are 4 points of connection for the handle to connect to the blade. Two of the connections have already separated and the two remaining won't last long. The whole thing is very cheaply made, not worth the price. I'm going to be looking for a replacement that has a full handle and extended (one piece) blade like the

OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Turner

or something similar. There is an OXO version of the Ateco spatula, but I won't even chance it - looks identical except for the handle.Luckily, Amazon has a very good return policy.Add'l: while rinsing it off before mailing, the other two welds failed. At least, I can use a smaller box to mail it in :-}Really bad product.

I have used one of these spatulas for at least twenty years and it's still just as good after all that time. Slides under fragile cookies without breaking them. Then the cookie slides off just as easily. I bought these as gifts for my nieces. Have already given them to my sister and step-daughters. Also bought them the triangular shaped spatulas as well

I love this spatula. Was happy to find the same one I already own. It had been my go to spatula for almost everything for years. I like the short handle and the extreme flexibility. The old one cracked, but was used heavily for years. I bought a new one, but as with other reviewers, the weld of the handle popped off entirely making the spatula useless. I sent Ateco an email explaining what had happened and they sent me a new one immediately. Didn't even ask me to send back the old one.I love this spatula so much that if I have to replace it now and then it's still worth it, and I'm impressed that Ateco stood behind their product.

We buy one of these about every 18-24 months. They're perfect for so much! Scrambling eggs, making omelettes, flipping pancakes, turning fish... We could go on. The one weak point is the way the handle is welded to the spatula and the whole thing just goes after a while. Fortunately, these are inexpensive and we definitely get our money's worth! One star off only for the weld failing after 18-24 months.

I've been through three flexible, stainless spatulas over the years (let's say 15 years), this one is junk.They all wear out eventually, but this lasted less than a year. The first one we had was this style of handle, there was also one with a one-piece, rubber (not silicone) covered handle, both lasted a long time with lots of flexing. This one busted at the contact points between handle and flat in no time, flat.

I don’t have non-stick cookware. This spatula is the only thing that allows me to cook french omelette easily on my stainless steel pan. I had to knock one star because this was my third purchase because eventually one of the joints breaks off.

I don't know what these other people are talking about, complaining that it can't pick up a fully loaded burger or whatnot. It's not meant for that, you silly gooses. This is a very light, super thin, extra flexible spatula (and it's supposed to be that way) -- meant for getting under things that might otherwise stick if you were to use a thicker, less flexible tool (you know, like over-easy eggs). It's awesome, and perfect for it's purposes. I'm glad I found it.
